Molly's Dad's goat Molly (Russ Williams)

This is one of my dad’s goats that he affectionately named Molly. She’s family to us.

Molly's Dad Russ Williams and his goats

This is my dad Russell Williams.

He’s a proud father because I, his youngest daughter, planted my first successful garden this year. He loves ice cream more than I do. He usually keeps some kind of candy in his pockets for us even though all of us kids are grown up. His favorite sayings are, “between you, me, and the fence post . . .” and “I’m doing pretty good for an old fat guy.”

This is my mother Ruth Hoover.

She is a Registered Nurse, likes to bicycle, and makes the best homemade granola and cinnamon rolls. When my siblings and I were younger, she would make us clean the house against our will, like most mothers do. We would be snarling mad, and she would annoyingly sing with a smile, “When we’re helping we’re happy and we sing as we go, cause we like to help mommy cause we all love her so.”
